Enjoying Bedok Reservoir

We are really enjoying our new place at Bedok Reservoir. There is just so much to do in the East that we are spoilt for choice!

We are merely a short ride from everything and anything interesting and every weekend is spent doing something fun. So unlike being stuck in the "wilderness" of Yishun in the past!

And since we have so much space in our house now, this is what we get up to!

This was impossible in our old living room - 3 pushes and we would have reached the other wall!

Our living room can even house a mini playground with space to spare

A swing! A slide! Totally unheard of in the old house!

And when it gets too hot and we need to cool down, we just head over to the nearby Tampines Safra for some water fun!

And if that gets too crowded, no matter! Uncle Boon's condo is just a stone's throw away! We dont miss our old pool at all, not one bit!

My birthday celebrations - Part 2

Today is the day of my birthday party at home! And look what Daddy rented! Specially just for me and my friends!

In the afternoon, while i was taking my beauty nap upstairs, Mummy and Yiyi were hard at work decorating my cake. It was supposed to be a surprise for me when i woke up!

Wah Yiyi, I didnt know you were so pro at this too! Hehe...

Soon my closest friends arrived and we had a good time watching The Little Mermaid together while the adults feasted and mingled

When the time came for me to blow out the candles, i stood there frozen. In the end, all my friends had to blow out my candles for me. Everyone thought i had stage fright, but i tell ya, i was actually basking in the moment and wanted to drag it as long as possible....

(Mummy: This was what she confessed to me later that nite)

Mummy: Just before she slept that night, Terelle gave me a hug and thanked me for the cake. I was really touched and glad that i spent the extra effort making it! Every painstaking figurine was worth it. And im sure Yiyi feels the same way too!

Terelle also went around telling everyone in turn that she loved them - Daddy, Baby Bone and Aunty Riza. Guess she really had a good time today and all of us are so happy that she thoroughly enjoyed herself!

My birthday celebrations - Part 1

I celebrated my birthday in school today and my family made sure it was extra special for me!

Mummy stayed up last night and baked all these cute cookie people for my classmates!

All packed and ready to be given to real girls and boys!

Mummy had another treat for me. I got to decorate her freshly baked cupcakes with fruit loops, M & Ms and jelly worms.

It was really fun decorating the cupcakes, and of course snitching quite alot of the sweets!
