Our Spooky Halloween

Its Halloween once again and this year, Mummy got us tickets to watch "Meg and Mog" at the Marine Parade Library.

Here's my basket with the spider made by Mummy, all ready to be filled with loot!

Jie Jie the pumpkin and me the giraffe, all ready to go trick or treating!

Here's Jie Jie Kara and Avril as witches

Jie Jie's pumpkin costume has been around for a looooong time

Flashback: This is her in the costume when she was about my age!

Yes? Who called?

Taking pics with the cast after the show - this is Stegy the Stegosaurus, our fav

It was a thoroughly enjoyable show, even the adults loved it! Mummy said it was one of the best kids' shows that she has ever watched.

Best of all, they gave out sweets and chocs and tatoos after the show!

Can i have some pleeeeese?

Which we wallopped immediately of cos!

*sheepish grin*

And to end the day, a nice tea time snack at a cafe nearby!

Deepavali in school

Here i am, all decked out in the traditional indian garb, all ready to celebrate Deepavali in school!

Not wanting to get my hands dirty as usual

My teacher made henna drawings on our arms

Dont i look suave as a little indian boy?

Jie Jie was back from her celebrations in school too, and we had fun posing for pics together at home. Doesnt Jie Jie look adorable in her indian dress too? Hehe...

My mini carnival

As you all know, i was down with HFMD 2weeks ago and missed all the festivities in school. Mummy and Daddy didnt want me to be disappointed so they promised me my very own mini carnival as soon as i was better.
And they kept their word!

In the true spirit of keeping things simple, all the games were hand made with love.

Painting fishies for the fishing game

We had fun creating our own fishies

We already had so much fun creating the props for the games, i couldnt wait to actually play them!

The prizes which Daddy and Mummy painstakingly sourced during one of our afternoon naps

Xiang Kor Kor and I putting the fishing game through a dry run before my friends arrived

It's really fun -passed!

And then my good friends were here! The Cans station was a hit!

Get the balls through the smallest holes to win the most points!

Mummy made Baby look like a little tiger

Baby Tiger trying to use his paws to catch the fish

There was even a craft station where we could do sand art

Try to extinguish as many candles as you can!

Uncle Ringo aka Daddy handing out tokens to all our friends

Pin the nose on the clown

All that activity is making me hungry!

Lemme just scoop water and dump it on the flames!

Mummy doing face painting and manicures for the girls

We also had to decorate our own paper bags, to be filled with lotsa loot later!

Mummy and her masterpiece!

Oops who pinned the nose on Daddy?!

Finally it was time to exchange our tokens for prizes!

The array was mind boggling....should i take this or this or this or this or this???

We exchanged ours for some lollies and many other goodies!

It was a smashing party and my friends and I totally enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you Mummy and Daddy for making my day! The HFMD episode was worth it...almost! hehe...

VJC ODAC Reunion

Mummy and Daddy brought us back to their JC for their ODAC reunion. Their school is very special to them, cos that's where they met! They even took their wedding pics there!

Where it all began

They then took us on a tour of the school compound and we loved the surroundings! Maybe in 13 years time i will be a student here too!

Loving the cool sea breeze blowing through the compound

Errrr baby, that aint a very manly pose...

We saw many rope structures that Mummy and Daddy helped build once upon a long long time ago...

Here i am atop one!

Mummy with a couple of her JC cronies

Daddy...being silly Daddy as usual...

We even explored the tree house!

Baby was a little scared at 1st

But soon he was trotting merrily behind me on the rope bridge!

And here we are taking a nice stroll around the campfire, to the delight of the other ODAC alumni

It just occured to Daddy and Mummy that if i really were to get into this school and join ODAC, i would be in the 40th batch! Whoa!

They were in the 10th batch by the way...haha...how ancient...
