Running the CIty

Daddy and Mummy took part in the Passion Run yesterday and today, it is our turn to Run the City!

We got up bright and early and met up with Kara at the F1 Pit Building.

I wont let u down - i can run with a cracking pace!

Here we are in action!

The run was a cinch for me!

Icy cold chocolate milk as a reward after the run - Yums!

And then it was Baby's turn to run. Here he is sweltering in the relentless heat and starting to melt down already...oops...

He's totally NOT HAPPY...

We even met Ian and Faith there!

Baby was actually supposed to run together with 2 other kiddos, who were the offspring of Mummy's old school friends. It was touted to be an exciting and entertaining 4F kids dash (4F was Mummy and her friends' secondary school class many many moons ago..hehe..) but alas, one came down with a fever at the last minute and didnt turn up, and the other clung on to his Daddy the very same way Baby did Mummy.

I guess the heat really did them in!

The miserable boys had to be carried all the way from start to finish

Finally, after being passed to and fro like a baton between Mummy and Daddy, Baby "completed" his run

Congratulations Daddy and Mummy! U did it! haha...

Wah he still has the cheek to guzzle the choc milk, he didnt even exert himself!

And then Gong Gong came over to join us in soaking in some of the carnival spirit

While Baby stuffed his face with cotton candy...tsk tsk...he didnt run and now he's eating junk!

Hopefully Baby will not be so wussy then and try to run together with me!

Fun at the Barrage

Mummy had a rare day when she didnt need to teach so she quickly packed our kite, some picnic food and bundled us into the car. Off we went to the Barrage!

Yippee what a treat!!

It was a great day out, cloudy, cool and breezy!

And look who came to join us! Shukai and Kaining!

They even brought along their racquets so we could play some badminton

We played some silly games as well

And here's proof that Mummy's training has improved my runs

All in all it was a fun, impromptu day out!

Running again!

Its the annual Standard Chartered Marathon and yours truly is taking part in the kids' race this year!

Daddy didnt sign baby up for the race so he donned my Cold Storage Kids' Run jersey and tagged along with me!

Run Singapore!

Our parents are fitness buffs so they signed all of us up for Run Singapore!

This was the 1st time we were going to run together as a family and we even cajoled the Liews to join us in this run for charity.

I was so overwhelmed by the rah rah atmosphere that i abandoned my stroller

Cold Storage Kids' Run

I jumped out of bed bright and early this morning, cos i was really excited to be going for my run at last!
Since Baby Bone was still not well, he had to stay home while the rest of us headed down to the Padang.

There was also a carnival going on and i had great fun trying out some of the games.

I had a great race! Cant wait for Baby Bone to join me next year!
