Our CNY 2010

It was a dismal and rather boring CNY for us this year as both of us were sick throughout the long holiday. Bleah....

CNY Eve

We spent the morning of the eve of CNY at East Coast, riding our bikes and soaking up the sun.

Baby was a little frazzeled by the heat though...he was already having a cough

Reunion dinner at home...

...where Baby insisted on eating up all the green strands in the yusheng

CNY Day 1

Today was a disaster! It was so terribly hot i think i suffered from a minor heat stroke, which left me with a sudden high fever. I also puked all of my dinner all over Mama's living room floor.

Sigh...needless to say, no one really enjoyed themselves and we didnt go anywhere else today. Explains the lack of photos too...

CNY Day 2

Mummy and Daddy decided to play it safe today and not do much visiting, since Baby was coughing and they were unsure whether or not i was truly sick.

Hence, we only went over to Grand Uncle Ronny's place for lunch and that was that. It was quite fun playing with Xiang Kor Kor and Zhining Mei Mei as usual. (I wasnt sick at all after all...haha)

CNY Day 3

Lunch was at our favourite sushi joint with Gong Gong and Por Por, where we got to play with our food again! (aka toss yusheng)

After our afternoon nap, we headed to the Singapore Flyer for our much anticipated ride with the cousins!

Here we are, peering excitedly out of the capsule at the twinkling lights below

Baby was particularly fascinated since his last flight was when he was an ignorant 8mth old babe

Doing the requisite touristy thing

And thus concluded our uneventful CNY this year. Hopefully it will be much better next year! We must stay germ free!!

When we are sick...

Baby was running a high fever but that didnt stop us from practising our flying kungfu stances on the sofa.

Mummy got a scolding from Daddy for filming this video instead of stopping us from stomping all over his precious leather sofa. Oops...

And then we also practised our rendition of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance...

...and Colbie Caliat's Kiss the Girl...

Check out my brother's nifty dance moves!

Can't tell that we were both sick huh?

Mummy: The drum set and microphone rank as one of the best toy buys of the century! They play with it almost everyday!

And here is Baby Bone when his fever was at its highest...he was lethargic and literally stayed curled up foetal like for almost 2 hours today!

or maybe it was because we monkeyed around too much...oops...

Big Boy

Aunty Alice kindly gave me Ian Gor Gor's set of uniforms cos he changed school, and i begged Mummy to let me try them on as soon as i laid eyes on them.

Aint I smart looking?

I cant wait to join Jie Jie in her school, what with Mummy fetching her there everyday and letting me tag along. Ive seen every part of the school and im dying to be a part of it all!

Im sure Jie Jie will take good care of me, right?

SO when can we start huh mummy, HUH???

Mummy: My baby will be joining his sis in her school starting next year. Time really flies, he's such a big boy now! *Sob*

Home Barber

Baby's hair is getting long and unkempt so here i am, doing him a favor by cutting it.

Im a professional, no?

Mummy: The surprising thing is that he is sitting there quietly and letting his sister have her way with his hair, for a full 10min! Haha...

Warming up led by Daddy and Mummy

And we're off! Check out our form...

We were at the finish line in no time at all!

Setting up the Xmas tree

We have so much space for our Xmas tree this year and we love it!

It used to be squished in one corner of our tiny living room with its hulking mass taking up half of the walking space along the corridor. We had to inch our way around it in order to get to the rooms!

Hahaha no more no more!

It now has its own niche, nestled under the stairs

We had great fun setting it up!

It's pretty, eh?

Merry Christmas from the Leongs!

Xmas comes early!

Xmas came early to my school! Everyone was supposed to prepare a gift for exchange and also contribute some food for the party.
I could hardly wait to get out of the house and off to school that day!

Here i am with Mummy's cupcakes in Chrismassy colors!

A snowman comes alive on my arm!

Ooh Jie Jie is gatecrashing again!!

Matching snowmen

Sinful crunchy party grub - Yum!

Look at the spread we had!

And to top it all off, bouncing on Santa's lap

What fun!

Water babies!

Mummy will bring us to Kirsten and Seth's house whenever she is not working and we love to splash around in their pool, which is literally right at their doorstep!

Yippeeee!!

Overgrown baby in tiny float

Baby Bone and Seth sitting on the steps, trying to muster up courage to venture into the water.

We're best buddies!

Seth getting bullied by naughty Baby, backed up by Kirsten

And then protesting vehemently when other people splash at him!

Ok Seth, let's escape!

Dont think they can catch us now!

Woohoo! We made it to the other end of the pool!

Happy times indeed!
