Goodbye Piggy, Hello Rat!!

Our whole family fell really ill after our special weekend away, with me having a fever so high that i had fits. Mummy and Daddy were also down with fever and chills, and all of us were coughing and sneezing. It was a miserable time but thank god baby bone was spared our agony. It really was living hell for the past week.

Finally all of us felt better by reunion night, enough to venture out of our house where we had been imprisoned for the past 10days.

CNY day 1

Daddy and Mummy decided to take it easy this year cos we had not fully recovered so we made only two stops visiting. But 1st, early morning ang pows from Daddy! Yay!

1st stop was of cos Mama's house!

Next stop - Tai Por's house where we met up with mummy's side of the family.

We all retired home early in anticipation of the surprise Daddy had in store for us tomorrow!

CNY day 2

Daddy and Mummy bundled both of us into the car early next morning and boy were we surprised when we checked into a hotel! Daddy had booked a harbor view room at the Swisshotel Stamford on the 53rd floor so that we could watch the chinese new year fireworks over marina bay in cool comfort! What a treat that was! It was almost worth it being so sick the week before!

Now i have a companion to bounce on the bed with!

After a spot of shopping, we headed for our favourite sushi joint for dinner. Thankfully ive got my appetite back and walloped an entire bowl of noodles. Mummy was so happy! Baby Bone slept blissfully throughout our entire meal, he was such a good boy too!

Now we're all really feeling much better!

Finally the highlight of the day - the fireworks! Xiang Kor Kor and Zhining Mei Mei came over to join in the fun with us. It was really awesome watching the fireworks from so high up!

After more fun and games with our cousins, Mummy got us ready for bed. Dont we look irresistably cute in our matching pajamas? hehe...

CNY day 3

Most of the shops had reopened today so we all trooped out bright and early to have breakfast and catch some bargains.

But first, an early morning foto with Daddy!

The hotel had even thoughtfully prepared a cozy little cot for Baby Bone

My special weekend

Ive just recovered from a terrible chest infection which landed me in hospital for 4 days, so mummy and daddy decided to cheer me up by booking a room at Rasa Sentosa and spending the weekend there.
Moreover, Baby Bone's confinement nanny will be leaving this sunday so Mummy and Daddy decided to make the weekend special for me. Cos after this weekend ill have to share them with my brother...No more Mummy and Daddy all to myself?? boohoo...
We really made the most out of the weekend!

Happy New Year!

The new year went by uneventfully; we were all counting down in bed, half asleep in our pjs! The next morning, we had a "make up" celebration with Uncle Raymond, Aunty Yiling and Kirsten mei-mei.
