Welcoming the Year of the Dog!

We had reunion dinner at Ma-Ma's house today where the adults had a spread of catered dishes. I was particularly intrigued by the way they played with their food, they literally tossed it up in the air all the while mumbling something in chinese which i did not understand. How come they can play with their food while i get chastised when i play with mine? How unfair...

We adjourned to Yee Sok Gong's house after dinner to meet up with Gong Gong and Por Por. By the time we got home i was exhausted from entertaining the adults all night! Looking forward to receiving the fabled ang pows tomorrow!
