Sick days...

Im siiiiiiiick!

Ive a high fever, diarrhea and to make matters worse, 6 of my teeth are erupting at the same time. Im so miserable!!

Because Baby Bone is sick, Mummy cant bring us out. So she came up with ways to entertain us, or more so ME, at home.

First, we baked!

Mummy gave me some flour, an egg, some water and sugar and told me to create something myself.

Hmmmm what shall master chef make today?

I guarantee you it'll be good!

I even gave the poor sick boy some of my "dough"

Yeeah!

Ta-da! Check out my little treats!

Mummy: They were supposed to be biscuits but they turned out to have bread like consistency and tasted like flaky mud. We ate them and said they were GOOD and then spat them out behind her back.

Sorry baby, totally unedible!

Then we hand painted shoes!

Look what Mummy painted specially for me!

I love them to bits, i wear them to school everyday!

Sorry no paparazzi pics please, leave a sick baby alone!

Mummy: The above picture was drawn by Terelle. I am so tickled by it!

She explained to me that the one in green is her, with a crown of course, and the one in blue is Baby Bone. She has a happy face while Baby is sad cos he's sick. She is holding on to poor baby's hand to "sayang him".

And the best part is...wait for it...there's orange poo coming out from Baby's backside. Wahahahaha priceless!

I made a Pizza!

Mummy signed me up for a Pizza making workshop at United Square, together with my good friend Nikita!
I was so excited i couldnt wait for this day to arrive, and kept asking Mummy over and over again, "Are we going for the pizza workshop today?"

Kitchen Tour and listening to our "trainer" explain how pizzas are made

Ahem..let the master chef examine my apparatus and ingredients!

And maybe taste some of the ingredients too?! Oops...

Watch the master chef in action!

We were even given snacks...

...and drinks, while we waited for our pizzas to be baked

Voila! My masterpiece which my entire family praised profusely and devoured right after!

Yeah!! A job well done!

Picture of all the little chefs

And not forgetting one with my "trainer"

The workshop only costs $15 and we got to go for a kitchen tour and learn about the process of making a pizza, have a hands on session creating a pizza; we took home our masterpiece, had a snack and even a goody bag filled with little treats and stationery.

Mummy thought it was $15 totally well spent indeed! And it kept me occupied all afternoon!

Of firemen and music...

There was a civil defence exhibition near Gong Gong's house this morning and we managed to catch some of the action!

I got to pretend i was a little firefighter - in a fire truck!

Baby and I had such fun pressing all the buttons and pulling all the knobs!

Mummy wanted me to take a pic with the nice firefighter uncle but i was too shy...

Alas, before we could explore the interactive displays the skies opened and it poured so we were hastily bundled back into the car. So disappointing! I shall bug Daddy and Mummy to take us to a real fire station for a tour soon!

In the afternoon, i went for a piano trial at Mandeville Music School. After my class, we had a little snack at Bakerzin since baby was still snoozing at home.

Stop eating my food again Daddy!

Anyway Mummy wasnt very impressed with the Mandeville trial, but that's a story for another post!

Playground Rampage

11 June 09

Im waiting for Jie Jie to be done with her art class so we can head to the playground!

But 1st, a spot of lunch!

Finally we entered the playground Frisk n Romp. It wasnt very big but being our 1st time there, everthing was refreshing...for awhile! Hhahah...

My buddy Kara came to join us too! What fun!

Here we are whizzing down the slide for big kids

while baby could only contend himself with this teeny weeny one

as usual he headed for the ball pit and stayed there for the longest time

There were different activities being carried out every hour and while we were there, we were treated to craft making...

...a story telling session...

... and a coloring session!

(Check out baby bone and his yellow crayon!)

We soon got bored of the place so back home it was, for some much derserved rest!

12th June 09

We went to yet another playground today! This time it was Peek-a-Boo at Kallang Leisure Park. It was formerly known as Bambini Playclub, guess the changed the name to prevent conflict with Go-Go-Bambini.

Here I am, being a monkey as usual

I quickly made fast friends with this little Ang Moh boy there and we raced each other round and round the structure, to see what was the fastest time we could clock starting from the bottom till we reached the slide!

He never left my side, right until his mum called for him to go. To which he grudgingly shuffled away, all the while begging for more time to play with me

Keke...its ok...i know i have this effect on boys...

Muahahaahah!

Ugh im tired Mummy, where does Jie Jie get all her energy from?

Sun and Sand at Sentosa!

7-9th June 2009

Due to the H1N1 bug circulating around the world, Daddy and Mummy decided not to travel and so they booked a staycation for us at Sentosa. It didnt matter that we couldnt travel, we still had a blast!

1st to do on our agenda - Sand play!

Me getting reacquainted with my sand toys - havent touched them in a long time!

Baby Bone's maiden attempt at sand play!

Baby Bone didnt take too well to sand. He glued his butt to the mat and refused to get off, and fussed big time when sand got onto his fingers.

Tsk tsk so nitpicky for a boy! haha...

See he's still trying to get Mummy to clean his hands

Err i wonder if i should try to get off the mat?

Bad move little brother! Wahahaha now ure STRANDED!

We stayed at the Siloso Beach Resort, which was nestled in a lush garden. It had a really nice, rustic setting, complete with a huge waterfall cascading into the landscaped pool.

They were having promotional rates at $300 for a 3d2n stay including breakfast but pity the rooms were not much to rave about though. The rooms had the bare essentials and they were so tiny, there was hardly anymore space to walk about once they set up Baby Bone's cot.

We were lucky to have been bumped up to a deluxe room, cos they took 45 min to process our check in and Daddy kicked up a fuss. Cant imagine how the standard room would be like if the deluxe room was already such a pigeon hole!

Wait for me! Im coming along for breakfast!

Look Jiejie, a squirrel!

Breakfast was nice as we nibbled on pastries, fruits and yoghurt amidst the lush foliage. We were also mesmerised by a family of squirrels who thrilled us to no end with their acrobatics!

Yum yum! Food tastes so much better outdoors!

After breakfast, we were up for some action at the luge. While waiting for the bus, we caught...

...Daddy and Baby tryg to eavesdrop on the conversation of some tourists nearby!

Tsk tsk! The men are more kaypoh than us girls!

And then we were all aboard the tram!

The pic below was taken just a split second before i fell off the ropes in the background and hit my head on the floor. All because i defied Mummy's orders to stand beside her while she smoothed in Baby's sunblock and ran off to swing on the ropes, even after repeated warnings from the luge staff not to do so.

Mummy wasnt very sympathetic over the huge goose egg bump i ended up with

She even said it served me right! Boohoo...

Nevertheless, we had great fun on the luge. It was also the 1st time Baby could go on it! The last time we tried the luge, he couldnt even sit unsupported, let alone ride it!

Allright guys, im all buckled up!

Daddy and his little thrill seekers!

And we're off!

Baby Bone was 5cm shy of the minimum height required to go onto the skyride so i got to go on the luge 3 times, with Mummy and Daddy taking turns to watch him at the foot of the hill.

Lucky me! Wheeeeeeee!

Dont worry Baby, we'll come back again then you can go on more rides!

Due to the extreme heat, we decided to head back to the hotel to cool off. While Baby napped in Daddy's arms, Mummy and I had fun playing with some mini jets of water near the tram station.

While baby napped, mummy took me swimming. No pics cos she was busy keeping me out of trouble.

After baby woke, we headed out to Vivocity on the monorail for abit of shopping and tea.

Look i can brew the tea for all of us!

No pics of me, cos i was snoozing in the stroller

Baby on display!

Back at the hotel, it was time to cool off after all our exertions! And what better way than our favourite activity - a bubble bath!

The next day, breakfast was hurriedly gobbled down cos i wanted to go swimming again! And of cos go down the kids' water slide again and again and again and again...

The slide was actually quite steep and when you got to the bottom, there was a relatively deep drop. So the st time i tried it, i ended up swallowing alot of water.

Mummy came up with this brainwave and coaxed me to go down the slide with a float around my waist. It slowed me down and also buoyed me up and out of the water at the end!

I was so happy i kept telling mummy "good idea, mummy! ure so clever!"

Mummy: hahahaha...

This is how we did it!

That's the huge waterfall in the background

Here i am, relaxing in my rubber float

Goofing around with Daddy

Baby in his element

And finally a little snack before we checked out and head home!

Us kids had a great time on sentosa, but our poor parents were literally our slaves! Muahaha...bow down to the 2 little royal highnesses!
