Sydney - Day 2

Mummy promised to take us on an adventure today!

1st up on the agenda was a boat ride to Darling Harbour

Baby was fascinated by the huge ferries

And also the Opera House in the distance

Picture perfect moment, to the delight of numerous tourists and locals on board who kept snapping pics of us

Hankering for gummy bears from mummy

Baby getting abit stoned out from the effects of the flu med

(oh he came down with a runny nose this morning, think he wasnt used to the cold)

Huddling together for warmth, cos when the winds blew it was really chilly!

Break for a snack at Darling Harbour

Finally after a loooong trek (we were given wrong directions ugh!!), we reached the Powerhouse Museum. Mummy read that there were many interactive displays for us kids here. If we're entertained, she's more than happy!

So that explains her determination to find the museum and the unrelenting trek all the way here!

Thankfully, the museum was all that it promised.

There were lots of bright and colorful contraptions which we could poke, prod and pull

State of the art exhibits which we could manipulate

A pond complete with moving fishes, ripples and splashes of water. There was even the corresponding sound effects whenever we jumped in and out

A little showcase of adorable bears which we could control and help them play different instruments

We walked around the rest of the museum for abit but the ultimate highlight for us was this play area called Zoe's House.

Here we were provided with foam bricks, wagons, conveyor belts, pulleys and charming little construction worker outfits and we were supposed to help Zoe build her house from scratch.

Ok im all set to get my hands 'dirty'!

Lemme go Mummy, ive got a job to do!

Even Mummy and Yiyi joined us

Uncle Jason told us there was a Jap restaurant that served cheap and mean ramen so we tried to look for it as it was supposed to be walking distance from the museum.

Nobody seemed to know where it was and we got lost for a good 20min, walking around aimlessly with rumbling tummies and 2 cranky babes

We were too tired to have a sit down dinner by the time we found the restaurant, so Mummy decided to pack the food back to the hotel.

As soon as we reached the room, Baby Bone would climb onto the bed and plonk himself right in front of the tv to watch Sesame Street

This is his favourite position, all throughout our stay here!

See, eyes still glued to the goggle box even after his shower

I wonder why Mummy's not complaining...

Oh by the way, today's Mummy's birthday! We were right here in Sydney exactly 2 years ago and we celebrated her birthday here then too!
